Board Exam Results for Nurses released today!

I’m partly blank today — I really couldn’t think of a good topic to write about other than spreading the good news that we received today.  Let me relax for a few days more and I’m pretty sure I’ll be back again online with streaming ideas or stories from my day-to-day experiences that I could blog about. 

Today seemed to be a lazy day for me — but not too lazy though because at least I could go out for a couple of hours and played tennis with friends.  I then felt relaxed and refreshed afterwards.  Exercise can really drive away negative stuffs (whatever that is!) from our body.  It’s a good body cleanser, detoxifier, and refresher.

God is good, all the time!  For once again He heard and answered our prayers.  We thank Him for all the blessings He showers to us continuously.  The nursing board exam results were out today — on the papers, and online news and blog sites.  Our little sis took the exams on Dec. 1-2 ‘07 and is today’s one of the successful examinees who passed in the said exams.

Warm congratulations to all new registered nurses.  You did a great job.

Footprints in the Sand

Up to this time, no author has been credited with this immortal work, a poem so motivating and inspirational to many in times of trouble.  I love this poem so much that whenever I face trouble, I always find comfort by musing over this valuable piece of work.  Whoever that original writer was, I strongly believe that he or she felt great love and joy for being able to inspire many people from all walks of life for decades gone and to come. 

Version 3:

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed He was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from His life. For each scene He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonging to Him and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of His life flashed before Him, He looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of His life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of His life.

This really bothered Him and He questioned the LORD about it. LORD you said that once I decided to follow you, you’d walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.

The LORD replied, my precious, precious child, I Love you and I would never leave you! During your times of trial and suffering when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you. - Carolyn Carty, 1963
